How do I buy from Parchment Bakery.

We are a boutique 'online orders only' bakery. This we have found is a great way to manage our orders and to ensure we deliver direct to you elevated homestyle baked goods and products in a timely manner.

When you have filled your cart, just enter your postcode at the bottom of the cart to see if you are eligible for delivery from Parchment. We hope so! Delivery costs and times can then be calculated depending on your location and needs. This can be found below in the FAQ (Do I qualify for delivery & what are my zone costs?)

We are small and obsessed with providing the tastiest baked goods and products we can. We never want to substitute order numbers for quality, and as such sometimes demand exceeds our ability to get orders to you, in which case our website will let you know. Hopefully you are able to place an order on another available day to fulfil your needs or cravings in time....but....if it's an important event or special day and you have run out of time, please don't despair! Just connect with us via our contact page and we will get back to you as soon as possible to see if we can work something out.

How does Parchment delivery work?

We aim to get our "really good baking" to as many happy customers as we can. Delivery charges are calculated on the size of your order and how far we need to travel to get to you, and this is determined by your delivery zone.

When you fill in your postcode, we will automatically adjust our charges based on where you are and how much you have purchased. This cost will be adjusted in your checkout when you enter your delivery address. You can find the costs and discounts associated with your delivery zone in FAQ, "Do I qualify for delivery & what are my zone costs??" (see below).

As much as we would love to, we can't deliver everywhere 😔 and your delivery status will be confirmed when you enter your postcode at the bottom of your shopping cart. We are sorry, if you miss out.

Having said that, if you are catering or hosting an event with baking requirements in excess of $300 and you are out of our delivery zones or your required delivery day is unavailable in our shopping cart calendar, then please feel free to contact us. Depending on our order schedule, we will see if we can help you out.

How to order.

Ordering is a piece of cake!

  • Just select your products and add them to your cart.
  • Once you have filled your cart, enter your postcode to check you are eligible for delivery.
  • Then pick the next available delivery date and a delivery time slot that suits you.
  • We currently deliver twice a day, morning and afternoon. Our staff prefer to deliver our goods to you personally to ensure you receive it in the condition that it was made, and to say "Hi". If you can't be there please let us know in the cart in "add order notes" or in the checkout in "add delivery instructions", and we will leave it in a safe place of your choosing. We will photograph your delivery, and let you know it has been dropped off. However, we can't then guarantee you will receive it in the condition it left Parchment Bakery or be held responsible for the final product quality.
  • Then proceed to checkout to enter your address & details, and check your order & delivery costs.
  • You can pay by one of the bank grade secure methods listed in checkout.
  • Finally, we will let you know when your order is accepted, on its way, and delivered.
Parchment Bakery Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

If you are dissatisfied in any way with your order please contact us immediately upon receiving your delivery and we will either replace your order if we can or refund you. Our staff will photograph your products just before delivery and upon delivering to ensure that what you receive is how we lovingly made it.

Parchment Bakery does not offer refunds on our baked goods if you change your mind. If however, you find your purchase unsatisfactory, and there is a fault with your product, we require you take a couple of photos for evidence, place your product in a cool dark place, and contact us at immediately at baker@parchmentbakery.com.au with the details of your fault and photos. We require the product be returned unconsumed in its original packaging, unless it is a quality concern and you have tried the product, otherwise you may be ineligible for a refund or exchange.

Because our goodies are handmade with love and are perishable in nature, we ask that you let us know about any complaints within 24 hours of delivery. Unfortunately, we can’t accept complaints after that time frame. If we don’t receive your actual faulty product back to investigate we won’t be able to process your refund or exchange. We will discuss the returns/exchange process with you once we have received your claim.

Once your claim has been investigated and approved, a refund will be processed to the original method of payment or an exchange arranged. Please allow us up to a week to process your return.

If after a week you haven’t received a refund, please check your bank account again. Next, contact your credit card company, there are sometimes delays in their processes. After that contact your bank. Often there is some processing time before a refund is received. If you have followed these steps and still have not received your refund please contact us again.

Do our products contain allergens?

Our products are all hand made in our bakery where eggs, peanuts, sesame seeds, soy, tree nuts, milk, dairy and wheat or gluten are used, and therefore may contain or have traces of these allergens.

Can I use more than one discount code?

If you have a discount code then thats great news! Please note that only one discount code can be used per order and cannot be combined with other promotions.
